When you are syncing Order Time with QuickBooks Online you must manage your Item Sales Taxes in QuickBooks Online. The reason for this is Intuit will not allow a third party service like Order Time manage that field.
The solution is to create the Item Sales Taxes in QuickBooks Online. Below you will see how to set them up.
From your home screen select Taxes and then Sales Tax Settings.
Next you have to add an agency. Here you will select a state the filing frequency and start date.
Then you will need to add a custom tax rate. The custom tax rate is the equivalent to the Item Sales Tax in Order Time.
And that is it. After you have saved you custom tax rate and synced with Order Time the new Item Sales Tax will be available to choose from!
