AvaTax Actions
When AvaTax integration is enabled, you will see a new button on sales transactions:
Sales Orders and Quote
- Verify Address
- Estimate Tax
Ship Docs and Customer Returns
- Verify Address
- Send uncommitted
- Commit
- Void
The AvaTax button will not show when the transaction is read only.
Verifying an address
It is up to you where you want to verify addresses. Order Time already will do this automatically (see preferences) and therefore this step can be skipped. However, if the address is not correct and you attempt to estimate, send uncommitted or commit a transaction, you will see an error message.
Once you verify the address once for a customer address and don't change it again, the Verify Address action will not show.
