Importing - BOM Component
Purpose:
The BOM Component Import allows users to import to add or update Components in an existing Bill of Materials. For this type of import you need the Step ID to identify which step you are adding components onto or the Component ID to update an existing component.
This is an older version of importing to a Bill of Materials. The BOM Easy is the recommended if possible.
Required Fields:

New Items: BOM Step Id, Item Name, Qty Per
- Existing Lines: ID and the field(s) you would like to update
Mapping Tips:
- You can use a report to get the step and component IDs for multiple BOMs at once.
