Use Bin Move to move inventory from one bin to another within the same location. To move inventory to a different location, use Transfers instead.
The module has three tabs: Scan, List, and Settings. There is nothing to download.
Create a bin move
Scan in this order:
- From Bin: the bin the inventory is in now.
- Item and, if the item tracks them, the LSN (lot or serial number). Enter the quantity to move.
- To Bin: the bin the inventory is going to. It must be different from the From Bin.
To move everything in a bin at once, choose Move entire bin instead of scanning an item.
Review and upload
The List tab shows each move with its From Bin, To Bin, and quantity. Upload to send the moves to Order Time. Uploading creates Adjustments in Order Time, and the app shows the adjustment numbers when it's done.
Auto Upload Bin Moves
Turn on Auto Upload Bin Moves in Settings > User Settings to upload each bin move as soon as you complete it, without tapping upload. You can't turn this on while bin moves are waiting on the device. Upload or delete them first.
