Importing - BOM Step
Purpose:
The BOM Step Import allows users to import to add or update Steps in an existing Bill of Materials. For this type of import you need the Step ID to identify which step you are updating or the BOM ID to Identify which BOM you are wanting to Add a Step to.
Required Fields:
New Items: BOM Id, Step Name, UOM and Time
- Existing Lines: Step ID and the Field(s) you are trying to update.
Mapping Tips:
- You can use a report to get the BOM and/or Step IDs
- The time on a step is a required field when editing a step on a WO so it is good to set it even if not used
